Saint John's junior Michael Coborn (St. Cloud, Minn./Cathedral) tallied five points (1g/3a) as the Johnnies continued their winning ways with a pair of 3-0 shutouts in conference action last week.

Although he did not score the goals, Coborn created all three in SJU’s victory over Macalester Oct. 17. Coborn then proceeded to score what proved to be the game-winning goal, the 20th goal of his career, in the win at Saint Mary’s Oct. 20. 

Coborn currently leads the MIAC (all games) with 11 assists, eight of which have come in MIAC play. Coborn is also eighth in points (19).

The Johnnies close out their regular-season schedule with a pair of home matches this week, beginning with a 7:30 p.m. contest tonight (Tuesday, Oct. 23) against Hamline at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville.
