Saint John’s senior Thomas Feichtinger (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) repeated his 2014 performance with a seventh-place finish (26:21) out of 235 runners on the 8k course to earn his second consecutive All-MIAC honor (top 15 individually) at the 2015 MIAC Championship Oct. 31.
SJU finished second out of 11 teams, their best mark since it won back-to-back conference titles in 2006 and 2007.
Feichtinger has led SJU at each of its last 11 cross-country meets dating back to fall of 2013. He is a combined 11-time All-MIAC honoree as a student-athlete in cross country (2), indoor (4) and outdoor (5) track and field.
The Johnnies, minus its top 7-10 runners in order to rest for the Nov. 14 NCAA Central Regional, host the annual SJU Fall Finale at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, near the water tower/Saint John’s Prep in Collegeville.
