Saint John's University senior Sam Blank (Rollingstone, Minn./Winona Cotter) led all scorers with 15 points in the 78-51 loss at top-ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point last Saturday, Nov. 20. He led the Johnnies with 18 points, including 12 in the first half, of their 70-65 upset win over No. 8 (Division II) St. Cloud State on Monday, Nov. 15. The reigning MIAC Sixth Man of the Year boasts a .504 career shooting percentage.
The Johnnies (1-1, 0-0 MIAC) return to action with a pair of games in the Chicago area this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 27-28. SJU travels to face Aurora (Ill.) for a 3 p.m. game Saturday, followed by a 3 p.m. tip-off at the University of Chicago Sunday.
