Saint John's senior golfer Tommy Koehler (Eden Prairie, Minn.) led the Johnnies with a four-day total of 298 (+10) to finish in a tie for 15th place at the NCAA Division III Championship May 13-16 at Grandover Resort in Greensboro, N.C.
Koehler finished second on the team with a 76.2 stroke average in 10 events (21 rounds) this season, including a 73.6 stroke average over his last seven rounds.
The Johnnies finished 15th out of 41 teams at the NCAA Championship, their 13th top-15 result in 14 trips to nationals. SJU collected a 38-1 head-to-head record (.974) against MIAC opponents in 2013-14 and now has a 476-30-4 (.937) record versus conference competition, during the regular season, since the 2003-04 season.
