Saint John's junior Chase Myhran (Orono, Minn.) claimed second place in the long jump, first among Division III jumpers, with a leap of 6.79 meters. The mark is the second-best jump in the MIAC so far this spring and would have been good for fourth in the conference last year.

Myhran and the Johnnies return to St. Paul for the 5 p.m. Macalester Twilight on Thursday, April 24, and visit Gustavus Adolphus for a 1 p.m. meet on Saturday, April 26, in St. Peter.
