Saint John's junior goalkeeper Kevin Lebahn (New Hope, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret's) posted a pair of shutouts, one full and another partial, last week. He made five saves, including two from close range in the first half, in the 1-0 victory over Wisconsin-Superior Oct. 28 to earn his fourth shutout of the season and 10th of his career.
Lebahn and the Johnnies won their fifth straight game with a 3-0 decision over Concordia on Nov. 1. He made one stop in 68:33 before being relieved to earn his 20th career win.
He has allowed five goals in his last nine matches (last 795:59 in net) and finished the regular season as the MIAC’s leader (conference matches only) in wins (7) and finished third in both saves (35) and save percentage (.814).
SJU (11-6, 7-3 MIAC) plays host to Macalester (11-5-2, 6-3-1 MIAC) in the MIAC Playoff Quarterfinals at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Haws Field in Collegeville.
