Saint John's senior Thomas Feichtinger (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) won an event at two different track and field meets over the weekend.

He won the mile run at Division I Minnesota's Snowshoe Open with a time of 4:11, which is the seventh-fastest time in NCAA Division III this year, on Friday. Feichtinger then won the 800 meters, his first run in the event this season, with a time of 1:55.92. The time is good for fourth in the MIAC.

He also has the MIAC’s second-fastest time in the 1,000 meters (2:30.76).

The Johnnies travel to compete at the St. Olaf Qualifier, the final tune-up before the 2016 MIAC Indoor Championships March 3-5, this Friday, Feb. 26. The meet is scheduled for 4 p.m. at STO's Tostrud Center in Northfield.
