He batted .600 (6-for-10) with runners on base and .667 (4-for-6) with runners in scoring position on the week, while the rest of the team batted .253 (20-for-79) and .207 (12-for-58), respectively.
The lefty is a .500 hitter in two specialty categories so far this season: against fellow lefties (4-for-8) and with runners in scoring position (7-for-14).
He leads the team with a current eight-game hitting streak and is batting .500 (14-for-28) with a .964 slugging percentage, seven runs scored, five doubles, a triple, two home runs and nine RBI during the stretch.
