Saint John's University freshman Alex Schnobrich (Houlton, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's) recorded a pair of assists in the 3-0 win at Saint Mary's Oct. 25. The victory clinched the Johnnies' third consecutive MIAC Playoff berth.

Schnobrich  has six points in his last two matches, including both goals in the 2-0 win over Augsburg Oct. 11. He is currently tied with junior co-captain Alex Niederloh (Maple Grove, Minn.) for the team-lead in points with nine (3g/3a).

The Johnnie soccer team (9-6, 6-3 MIAC) makes a brief return to non-conference play with a 3:30 p.m. match against Wisconsin-Superior today (Tuesday, Oct. 28) at Haws Field in Collegeville.
