Saint John’s senior wrestler Alex Peck (Edina, Minn./Benilde-St. Margaret’s) improved to 9-6 on the season by going 3-0 at 133 pounds as the Johnnies went 2-1 in dual meets this past week.

Peck tallied a pin (4:26) in the Johnnies’ 29-14 win over Wisconsin-Platteville Feb. 9 and an 11-0 major decision in the 25-14 loss to now-No. 19 Loras (Iowa) later that day. He put SJU on the scoreboard with an 11-4 decision, one point from a major, in the 23-12 loss at No. 6 Concordia-Moorhead Feb. 11.

SJU (8-10 dual record) continues its tour against former MIAC-wrestling foes with a 7 p.m. dual at St. Olaf on Friday, Feb. 14, before returning home to host nationally-ranked Augsburg at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, in Sexton Arena.
