Saint John's senior Josh Seaburg (Moorhead, Minn.) ended his collegiate career by swimming in three events at the 2012 NCAA Division III Championships last week in Indianapolis, Ind.

He finished 18th out of 27 swimmers in the 400-yard individual medley, took 25th in the 200-yard butterfly and 28th in the 500-yard freestyle.

Seaburg concluded a superb senior season in which he was named the 2011-12 MIAC Men's Swimmer of the Year after winning three events at the conference meet. He won the 500-yard freestyle (4:33.17) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:02.01) with times that topped the 2011 NCAA selection marks, and won the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:54.36. He is the first Johnnie to win three conference titles in individual events since 1999.

Seaburg is a seven-time All-MIAC honoree at SJU and an eight-time honoree in his collegiate career (All-MIAC as a freshman at Gustavus Adolphus in 2009).
