Saint John's senior point guard Andy Burns (Shorewood, Minn./Minnetonka) averaged 15 points, 5.5 assists, three steals and three three-pointers per game as the Johnnies posted a pair of wins last week. He tallied nine points and eight assists in the 78-42 win over Martin Luther Dec. 12 before posting a season-high 21 points and added four steals in the 73-58 road victory at Morris Dec. 15.

The Johnnies (5-3, 1-2 MIAC) return to conference play against St. Thomas on Monday, Jan. 2. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Sexton Arena in Collegeville.
