Saint John's University senior wrestler Matt Baarson (Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park), ranked No. 5 nationally at 165 pounds, posted a perfect 3-0 record with three pins at last Saturday's Wisconsin-La Crosse Duals. His pin of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Jordan Schulte, ranked No. 8, helped SJU to a 22-18 win over the No. 14 Pointers.
The Johnnies, ranked ninth in the nation, return to action this Friday, Dec. 10, at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Duals at the Dells. SJU is scheduled to face No. 3 Wisconsin-La Crosse (6:30 p.m.) and No. 30 Wisconsin-Whitewater (8 p.m.) in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
