Junior Andrew Aebly (Madison, Wis./Edgewood) earned a complete-game victory in the 5-1 win over Saint Mary's in game one of the doubleheader April 15. The start was his first of the season. Aebly scattered five hits, all singles, and allowed one run to lower his team-best ERA to 1.52 in 23 2/3 innings. Opponents are batting .205 against Aebly, who also has two saves on the season.
The Johnnies host Augsburg in the home finale on Tuesday, April 21. The doubleheader is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Saint John’s Field in Collegeville. SJU then travels to face St. Olaf for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, April 25, in Northfield.
