Hole-by-Hole Results
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Saint John's golf finished third out of 16 teams at the three-day Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic on Monday, Oct. 6, at Minnesota Valley C.C. (par 73).
The Gusties won the tournament with a three-round total of 882 (+30), 15 shots ahead of Bethel in second at 897 (+45). SJU led five teams that were separated by a single shot in third (+52, 904). Carleton was fourth (+53, 905), followed by Nebraska Wesleyan (+54, 906); Concordia-Moorhead (+55, 907); and Lake Forest (+56, 908).
SJU led the tournament on the par-5 holes (-21, second place was Nebraska Wesleyan at -8); birdies (42); and eagles (5).
Sophomore
Gavin Grahek (Maple Grove, Minn.) tied for third out of 85 golfers with a 218 (+5). He posted his second-straight, even-par round thanks to four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 No. 10 (493 yards). Grahek led the tournament with 12 birdies and went -9 on the par-5 holes.
Junior
Nate Appelhof (Blaine, Minn./Totino-Grace) led SJU's contingent of 10 Monday with a 1-under par 72 to climb 14 spots to 21st overall at 227 (+14). He, like Grahek, birdied four holes and tallied an eagle – the par-5 No. 5 (549 yards). Appelhof led the tourney with three eagles over the three days.
Freshman
Austin Roloff (Minneapolis, Minn./Spring Lake Park) carded four birdies for a 77 (+4) and placed 33rd (+18, 231), while senior
Ethan Kress (Woodbury, Minn.) claimed 38th (+19, 232). Senior
Tim Fultz (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area) posted a 3-over par 76 and took 47th (+22, 235).
Senior
Gus Briguet (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) led SJU Blue, which finished 11th at 925 (+73), in seventh place at 223 (+10). He collected four birdies for a 75 (+2) Monday. Sophomore
Marty Timmons (Brainerd, Minn.) led Blue with an even-par 73 and tied Roloff in 33rd (+18, 231).
The Johnnies wrap up the fall portion of their 2025-26 schedule at Carnegie Mellon's Tartan Invitational next Monday-Tuesday, Oct. 13-14, at Laurel Valley G.C. in Ligonier, Pa.
