Hole-by-Hole Scoring
MONTICELLO, Minn. – Saint John's golf finished second out of 15 teams at its spring invitational on Sunday, April 26, at Monticello C.C. (par 71).
No. 23 Gustavus Adolphus fired a 1-under par 283 to win the team title with a two-day total of 574 (+2). SJU tallied a 2-over par 286 and claimed second with a 577 (+5), followed by Wisconsin-Eau Claire (+8, 580), Bethel (+10, 582) and Carleton (+12, 584). SJU Blue was sixth at 589 (+17) and SJU White was 12th (+40, 612).
Freshman
Austin Roloff (Minneapolis, Minn./Spring Lake Park) carded four birdies, two bogeys and 12 pars for a 2-under par 69 to lead SJU in the final round. He climbed 17 spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 10th with junior
Nate Appelhof (Blaine, Minn./Totino-Grace), who tallied a 72 (+1), at 144 (+1).
Sophomore
Gavin Grahek (Maple Grove, Minn.) tied for 13th with a 145 (+2), senior
Ethan Kress (Woodbury, Minn.) was a shot behind him in 18th (+3, 146) and senior
Tim Fultz (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater Area) rounded out the Johnnies' five in 31st (+6. 149). Kress led SJU with five birdies on Sunday.
Freshman
Braxton Berlin (Lake City, Minn.) posted a 2-under par 70 Sunday – his first collegiate round below par – to lead the 17 Johnnies in the field in a tie for eighth out of 95 golfers with an even-par 143 for SJU Blue.
Senior
Gus Briguet (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) tied Kress for 18th (+3, 146) and sophomore
Connor O'Hara (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South) was 22nd (+4, 147).
Freshman
Ryan Liveringhouse (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park) led SJU White in 39th with a 151 (+8).
The Johnnies complete their regular-season schedule at the 36-hole Gustavus Adolphus Triangular – against the host Gusties and Carleton – at 8 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, at Le Sueur C.C. (par 71).
