Aidan Becken (Prior Lake, Minn.) and sophomore goalkeeper
Evan Siefken (Lakeville, Minn./North) earned 2022 All-MIAC men's soccer honors on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Siefken was one of two goalkeepers named All-MIAC and Becken was All-MIAC honorable mention.
The All-MIAC honor is the first for Siefken, who was named All-MIAC honorable mention and earned United Soccer Coaches All-Region IX third-team honors last fall. He posted a 4-5-1 record with a 1.83 GAA and a .739 save percentage (51 saves) in 10 conference starts in net. Overall, Siefken posted a 7-7-3 record with five total shutouts (four individual and one shared), a 1.31 GAA and a .788 save percentage (82 saves).
Becken started all 10 league games and led the Johnnies with two game-winning goals, Sept. 28 vs. Concordia and Oct. 15 at Hamline. Overall, Becken he collected five points (2g/1a) in 17 games played and ended his career with 13 points (5g/3a) and three game-winners in 45 contests.
The Johnnies finished sixth in the conference with a 4-5-1 record (8-7-3 overall) and made their 11th trip to the semifinals in 12 MIAC Playoff appearances in 2022.
