O'Connor led SJU's attack on the other side of the field. He played and started in all 10 MIAC games, tying for second in points (17), fourth in goals (6) and fifth in assists (5) in the league ranks. His seven points (3g/1a) at Saint Mary's on Oct. 28 were tied for first in a single game this season. O'Connor broke his way into the SJU record books in his sophomore campaign, claiming the program's single-season scoring record that held since 1974 when Ken Potts '74 scored 19. His 50 points finished second behind Potts' 56 in '74. In total, O'Connor has 64 points (26g/12a) in two seasons. Ryan scored two of three SJU playoff goals, the first a crucial tally to give his team a 1-0 lead over nationally ranked No. 6 Augsburg in the first half of the quarterfinal match. His second was SJU's only against No. 4 St. Olaf in the final minutes of the semifinals. Ryan played in 19 of 20 games this season, totaling 11 points (3g/5a) and 14 shots.
