Alex Bowman (Elk River, Minn./Rogers) and senior defender
Foster Conlin (Mooresville, N.C./Mounds View) were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District IV men's soccer team on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Nominees must be a sophomore or better with a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher. Athletically, student-athletes must either appear in 90 percent of his team's games or start 66 percent of them.
CSC's Academic All-Americans will be voted on by organization members and announced on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
The CSC Academic All-District honor is the second-straight for Conlin, who was named All-MIAC this season and is expected to earn his third Academic All-MIAC distinction (minimum 3.5 GPA) in January.
A finance major with a 3.73 GPA, Conlin tied for fourth on the team with 11 points (3g/5a) in 20 games, all starts. He played 1,714 minutes for the Johnnies this fall, which was second on the team to sophomore forward
Ronan O'Connor's (Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray) 1,722. He contributed to five Johnnie shutouts this season and helped the defense to top-four numbers in the MIAC in goals against (11), goals against average (1.30), scoring margin (+0.90) and save percentage (.783). A 2024 All-MIAC honorable mention selection, Conlin ended his collegiate career with 13 points (3g/7a) in 61 games.
Bowman is an exercise and health science major with a 3.50 GPA. He played 20 games with nine starts this fall and totaled eight points (3g/2a). Bowman registered 38 points (16g/6a), including five game-winning goals, in 61 career games at SJU.

Noah Hermanson (St. Paul, Minn./Holy Angels – were worthy academically but just missed the athletic requirement.
The Johnnies tied for fifth in the conference with a 5-4-1 record (13-5-3 overall) and made their 14th appearance in the MIAC Playoffs (established in 2003) and 11th in the last 13 seasons in 2025. The 13 wins were the program's most since 2014 (13-7-0).
