COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University sophomore Colin Hall's (Maple Grove, Minn.) header with 1:06 remaining in the first half proved to be the game winner as the Johnnies defeated Central College of Iowa 1-0 Sunday, Sept. 28 in Collegeville.

Hall knocked in the header, his second goal of the season, off of a corner kick from sophomore forward A.J. Sollom (Roberts, Wis./River Falls).

Junior goalkeeper Luke Nelson (Caledonia, Minn.) made seven saves to record his second consecutive shutout and improve his record to 6-3 on the season.

SJU (6-4, 1-3 MIAC) returns to conference action at Bethel this Wednesday, Oct. 1. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at the Ona Orth Complex in Arden Hills. The match was originally scheduled for Sept. 23 but was postponed and rescheduled due to lightning.
