MIAC Release

FARMINGTON, Minn. – Saint John's senior quarterback Trey Feeney (Moorhead, Minn.) was named the MIAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season on Monday, Oct. 5.

Feeney completed his first 15 passes – before a dropped pass snapped his streak – and finished 38 of 43 passing for 355 yards and six touchdowns to lead SJU to a 42-16 win over then-No. 7 Bethel Saturday (Oct. 3) in a rain-soaked Collegeville.

His 38 pass completions were the second-most in SJU history, six behind the record of 44 set by Aaron Syverson '24 on Oct. 7, 2023 vs. Concordia-Moorhead. The six-touchdown performance was Feeney's second of the season and fourth of his career.

Feeney currently leads NCAA Division III in both completion percentage (.784) and completions per game (31.75), is second in points responsible for per game (28.5), and third in both passing touchdowns (19) and passing yards per game (327.8).

Third-ranked SJU (4-0, 3-0 MIAC) visits Macalester (3-1, 2-1 MIAC) at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Macalester Stadium in St. Paul.
