GCAA Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - The Saint John's University golf team was ranked No. 21 in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches' poll released today (Friday, Sept. 30). 

Methodist (N.C.) remains at No. 1 with 16 of the 17 first-place votes. Emory (Ga.), Huntingdon (Ala.), Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) and Christopher Newport (Va.) rounded out the top five.

SJU, which won three of its first four tournaments and placed second in the other this fall, received votes in the Bushnell/Golfweek preseason poll posted Sept. 9.

The Johnnies go for their third consecutive conference title at the nine-team MIAC Championships this Saturday-Monday, Oct. 1-3, at Bunker Hills G.C. (par 72) in Coon Rapids.
