Final Results

GENEVA, Ohio - Saint John's senior Shawn Schindler (Maple Grove, Minn.) finished 12th in the pole vault on the third and final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday, May 28, at the SPIRE Institute.

Schindler avoided elimination by clearing 4.80 meters on his third and final attempt, but could not surpass the mark of 4.90 meters. His season-best height was 4.86 meters and he cleared 4.90 meters, a personal-best, to finish fourth at last year's NCAA Outdoor Championships. 

As a team, SJU tied for 26th out of 80 teams with nine points. The Johnnies tied for 11th in 2019 and placed 12th in 2021.
