Peyton Fischer (Spicer, Minn./Willmar) had a racket in the two wins for SJU (9-5, 5-2 MIAC). He teamed up with freshman
Ryan Will (Northfield, Minn.) for an 8-5 victory at No. 2 and won his singles match, also at No. 2, via the super-breaker: 4-6, 6-1, 10-8.
The Scots (10-5, 6-1 MIAC) won the other five singles matches in straight sets, including four sets with a seventh point.
The Johnnies host Carleton for its home opener at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at the Chang Tennis Complex in Collegeville.
