ORLANDO, Fla. - Saint John's tennis ended its spring-break trip with a pair of 7-0 losses to non-NCAA Division III teams on Friday, March 11, in Florida.
The Johnnies (6-2 overall) lost in straight sets to NAIA St. Thomas (Fla.) in Altamonte Springs, Fla., and ended the day with a defeat to Division II Stonehill (Mass.) in Orlando.
St. Thomas (6-4 overall) was ranked nationally earlier this season and is receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll.

Peyton Fischer (Spicer, Minn./Willmar) and freshman
Ryan Will (Northfield, Minn.) improved to 7-2, including a 3-0 record at No. 1, with a 7-6 win against Stonehill. All three doubles matches played to six points, though the Johnnie duo won the tie-breaker, 7-5.
The Johnnies return to conference play against St. Olaf at 4:30 p.m. next Saturday, March 19, in Owatonna.
