TEE TIMES: The first round is scheduled for a 2 p.m. shotgun Saturday, followed by 36 holes and an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Sunday.
A LOOK AT THE JOHNNIES: Saint John's started its 2021-22 season in fine fashion with a tournament win out of 18 teams at the Augsburg Invitational Sept. 4-5 at Majestic Oaks G.C. (par 72) in Ham Lake.
The Johnnies entered Sunday's final round with a 1-shot lead over Gustavus Adolphus and fired the day's second-best round, a 1-over par 289, to take first place by three shots over the Gusties (+18, 594) with a 591 (+15). Nebraska Wesleyan carded an even-par 288 Sunday to climb eight spots into third place at 605 (+29).
Four Johnnies finished in the top 11. Sophomore
Nate Loxtercamp (Richmond, Minn./Melrose Area) led the way with a two-round total of 145 (+1) to claim second place out of the 100 golfers, his third top-five finish in seven career events. Loxtercamp, junior
Thomas Gutzmer (Jordan, Minn.) and sophomore
Glavine Schugel (New Ulm, Minn.) collected 73's (+1) Sunday. Gutzmer tied for fifth (+3, 147), his fifth top-five finish in 11 career events, and Schugel placed 11th (+6, 150).

Sam Berger (Waconia, Minn.) led SJU's 10 golfers Sunday with a 2-under par 70 to finish 10th (+5, 149). He went 3-under on his first 12 holes, thanks to three straight birdies on Nos. 5-7.

Nate Bauer (Andover, Minn.) led SJU Blue, which tied with Bethel's varsity for seventh (+45, 621), with a 4-over par 76 and a two-round total of 153 (+9) to tie for 17th.
WHO WILL BE THERE: In addition to SJU (two teams) and Bethel (two teams), other schools scheduled to compete this weekend include Augsburg (two teams), Carleton, Gustavus Adolphus (two teams), Luther (Iowa), Macalester, St. Olaf and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (two teams). Individuals from a number of Division I programs will also be in the field: Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Kent State, Marquette, Notre Dame, Rutgers, St. Thomas and West Virginia.
