MIAC Release

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University junior Nate Jordre (St. Cloud, Minn./Tech) was named the MIAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, March 10.

Jordre went 4-1 at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles as the Johnnies (7-3, 2-0 MIAC) went 3-3 during its spring-break trip in Orlando. His lone singles loss was via the super-breaker (4-6, 6-4, 4-10) to Division II Cedarville (Ohio), while his lone doubles loss (with junior Thomas Gillach) was to Division I Hampton (1-6). 

Jordre is 7-2 at No. 1 singles and 7-2 (with Gillach) at No. 1 doubles this spring.

The Johnnies return to MIAC play against St. Thomas at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Sta-Fit in Sartell.
