ORLANDO, Minn. – Saint John's tennis ended its spring-break trip with a 6-3 loss to Division II Cedarville (Ohio) on Thursday, March 9, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
SJU (1-8 overall) led 2-1 after doubles competition, but dropped five of the six singles matches in straight sets to the Yellow Jackets (5-6 overall).

Tim Larson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) improved to 6-4 (5-3 at No. 1) in singles play with a 6-2 and 7-6 (7-3) win at No. 1 and paired with sophomore
Jonah Punnoose (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) for an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore
Hunter Krebsbach (St. Paul, Minn./Mounds View) and freshman
Ben McKimm (Hutchinson, Minn.) tallied the Johnnies' other point with an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
The Johnnies resume conference play with an 11:30 a.m. match at No. 23 Gustavus Adolphus next Saturday, March 18, in St. Peter.
