LAKEVILLE, Minn. - Saint John's tennis suffered an 8-1 loss to Carleton on Sunday, Feb. 26, at Lifetime Fitness in Lakeville.

Junior Tim Larson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) tallied the lone win for SJU (0-5, 0-2 MIAC) at No. 1 singles (6-2, 6-4).

The Johnnies took three first sets to 7-5 or better in the singles play to the Knights (6-0, 2-0 MIAC), who are ranked No. 13 in the region.

SJU opens its four-match trip over spring break against the University of the Sciences (Pa.) at 3 p.m. EST Sunday, March 5, in Orlando.
