WINONA, Minn. – Saint John's returned to action with a 9-0 shutout win at Saint Mary's on Friday, March 11, at the Winona Tennis Center.

The Johnnies (3-4, 3-2 MIAC) swept all six singles matches in straight sets over the Cardinals (7-7, 0-4 MIAC) and posted a pair of 8-2 decisions at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles. 

Senior Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) earned his first win this spring at No. 1 singles, while sophomore Tim Larson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) improved to 5-2 (4-1 MIAC) at No. 2.

The Johnnies face Luther (Iowa) for a neutral-site, non-conference match at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, in Winona.
