SJU Ends Tennis Season With 6-3 Loss at Carleton

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Saint John's ended its 2015 tennis season with a 6-3 loss at Carleton on Sunday, April 26, in Northfield.

The Johnnies (8-10, 3-6 MIAC) gained an early 2-1 lead following doubles competition but only won one of the six singles matches.

Juniors Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) and Andrew Nagel (Maple Grove, Minn.) won by an 8-6 score at No. 1 doubles, while junior Ben Lahren (Wausau, Wis./West) and freshman Tim Larson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) followed suit with an identical score at No. 2 to finish the season with a 10-2 (8-1 MIAC) record.

Larson recorded the Johnnies' lone win in singles play at No. 2 (7-5 and 6-2). Hansen lost at No. 1 via the super-breaker (6-4, 2-6 and 10-7).
