ResultsFARGO, N.D. – Saint John's tennis posted its first conference win with a 7-2 decision over Concordia-Moorhead on Saturday, March 28, at Courts Plus in Fargo, N.D.
SJU (5-5, 1-2 MIAC) swept all three doubles matches and three of the four wins in singles play were by straights sets. Junior
Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) improved to 3-0 in MIAC play (7-6 overall) at No. 1 singles with a hard-fought victory: 7-6 (7-1), 3-6 and 11-9 in the super-breaker.

Tim Larson (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson), sophomore
Steven Wirtz (Overland Park, Kan./Bishop Miege) and junior
Tanner Rayman (Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley) tallied wins at Nos. 2 (6-3 and 6-3), 5 (6-2 and 6-0) and 6 (6-2 and 6-2), respectively.
Concordia (0-9, 0-6 MIAC) earned its wins at Nos. 3 and 4 singles. Junior
Ben Lahren (Wausau, Wis./West) won his first set at No. 4, 6-1, but dropped the second (6-2) and the super-breaker (10-7).
The Johnnies return home to host Macalester for a 2:30 p.m. match on Sunday, March 29, at Fitness Evolution in Sartell.
