ResultsARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The change of scenery, from indoor to outdoor tennis, did not provide the lift Saint John's needed in a 6-3 loss at Bethel on Wednesday, April 9, in Arden Hills.
SJU (4-8, 0-4 MIAC) avoided a sweep in doubles competition with a hard-fought 9-7 win at No. 3 from the tandem of sophomore

Bethel (7-9, 3-3 MIAC) won the first set in five of the six singles matches. Senior
Joe Laue (St. Louis Park, Minn./Holy Angels) turned his 0-1 deficit into a win at No. 2 by winning the second set, 6-1, and the super-breaker, 10-3.
Senior
Alex Wiegmann (Sunburg, Minn./New London-Spicer) tallied the Johnnies' other win at No. 6 in matching straight sets, 6-2.
