OWATONNA, Minn. – Saint John's failed to gain any traction in a 7-2 tennis loss against St. Olaf on Saturday, April 5, at the Owatonna Tennis Center.

Sophomores Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) and Andrew Nagel (Maple Grove, Minn.) tallied an 8-6 win for SJU (4-7, 0-3 MIAC) at No. 1 doubles and junior Jordan Otto (Rice, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral) registered the visitors' lone win in singles competition at No. 4 (6-4, 6-2).

The Oles (4-4, 2-2 MIAC) posted doubles wins with scores of 8-6 and 8-5 at Nos. 2-3, respectively, and won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.

The Johnnies are scheduled to visit Bethel for a 4 p.m. match on Tuesday, April 8, at the Ona Orth Complex in Arden Hills.
