The Johnnies' postseason hopes require a Carleton win over Macalester tonight in Lakeville. If the Knights, who have already locked up the No. 2 seed in the six-team MIAC Playoffs, end their conference schedule with a win, SJU (8-10, 4-5 MIAC) would earn the No. 6 seed and a trip to third-seeded St. Thomas for a 4:30 p.m. match on Wednesday, April 30.
SJU won all nine matches in straight sets, without the use of tie-breakers, to pick up its third consecutive victory. The Johnnies combined to allow only three match points in eight sets of wins at Nos. 2, 4, 5 and 6 singles.
