Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) needed a 7-4 win in the second-set tie-breaker to earn a victory at No. 1. Senior

Andrew Nagel (Maple Grove, Minn.) all won in straight sets at Nos. 4-6, respectively.

Jordan Otto (Rice, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral) put the Johnnies on the scoreboard with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.
Macalester (6-6, 2-3 MIAC) recorded a pair of wins with extra tennis. Otto fell at No. 3 singles, via a 10-4 decision in the super-breaker, while Hansen and Rust lost at No. 1 doubles, 9-8 (7-3).
The Johnnies return home to host Carleton for a 1 p.m. match on Saturday, April 12, at the CSB Tennis Courts in St. Joseph.
