SARTELL, Minn. – No. 18 Gustavus Adolphus displayed its national ranking with a 9-0 win over Saint John's on Saturday, March 22, at Fitness Evolution in Sartell.

The Gusties (15-3, 6-0 MIAC) won all six singles matches in straight sets. A pair of Johnnies, sophomore Jack Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) and junior Jordan Otto (Rice, Minn./St. Cloud Cathedral), reached the four-point threshold in their first sets, at Nos. 1 and 4, respectively.

Seniors Joe Laue (St. Louis Park, Minn./Holy Angels) and Connor Rust (Rochester, Minn./Lourdes) tallied the closest match in doubles play at No. 2, 8-5.

The Johnnies (4-5, 0-2 MIAC) travel to face St. Scholastica in a non-conference match at noon next Sunday, March 30, at the Arrowhead Tennis and Athletic Club in Duluth.
