COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's won its four-team Fall Finale on Friday, Nov. 8, in Collegeville.

SJU totaled the first four non-University of Minnesota runners and posted 15 points, followed by Martin Luther (67), North Central (79) and Minnesota-Morris (87). The Gophers' Aaron Bartnik won the men's 8k race in 24:43.

Freshman Maxwell Kuzara (Deephaven, Minn./Minnetonka) led the Johnnies in ninth place overall with a time of 26:43. Senior Alexander Trujillo (Davenport, Iowa/Central) followed four seconds later, while freshman Nick Traxler (Wayzata, Minn./Minnetonka) and sophomore Jake Burr (Glencoe, Minn./Glencoe-Silver Lake) finished 11th (27:01) and 12th (27:08), respectively.

The Johnnies' varsity returns to action at the NCAA Central Regional next Saturday, Nov. 16. The race is scheduled for noon on the campus of St. Olaf in Northfield.
