MOORHEAD, Minn. – Saint John's University sophomore Colin Hall's (Maple Grove, Minn.) first goal of the season proved to be the game-winner as the Johnnies defeated St. Scholastica 1-0 Sunday, Sept. 7 in Moorhead.
Hall's header came off of a pass from senior Brian Horst (Stillwater, Minn.) at the 58:30 mark of the second half.
Junior goalkeeper Luke Nelson (Caledonia, Minn.) made two saves to improve his record to 4-0 and post his second shutout of the season.
Saint John's (4-0, 0-0 MIAC) opens the conference schedule this Wednesday, Sept. 10 at St. Thomas. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at UST's South Field in St. Paul. The game is head coach Pat Haws' 500th of his 31-year career at SJU.
