Saint John's University senior Aaron Burtzel (Cold Spring, Minn./Rocori) posted back-to-back double-doubles in the Johnnies’ pair of MIAC wins against Hamline (80-72) and Bethel (69-65) last week. The MIAC’s leader in shooting percentage (.689) and assists (5.75 apg.), Burtzel averaged 16.5 points, 12 rebounds and six assists per game while posting a 4.00 assist/turnover ratio.

The Johnnies (6-2, 2-1 MIAC) return to action Monday, Jan. 3, at Carleton. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Northfield.
