Saint John’s senior Ryan Bugler (Okinawa, Japan/Kubasaki) led all MIAC participants with a fourth-place finish, third among collegiate runners, out of the 282 men with a time of 25:15 Sept. 30 at the Wisconsin-Eau Claire Invitational. He was named the MIAC Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week Oct. 4 for his performance.
SJU (173 points) finished sixth out of 15 teams behind No. 4 UW-Eau Claire (29), No. 8 Wisconsin-La Crosse (61), No. 9 St. Olaf (96), Division II Michigan Tech (119) and Lakehead of Ontario (155).
