COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Saint John's University athletic department's eighth-annual Go Johnnies Challenge - a 24-hour, online giving campaign - begins at midnight (Tuesday, Sept. 15)!
As of 6:30 p.m. Monday (Sept. 15), there were 25 matches, 314 donors and over $130,000 raised for the Go Johnnies Challenge before its official start at midnight.
The goal of the 2026 Go Johnnies Challenge is 750 donors for the university's 750-plus varsity and club student-athletes. Monetary gifts can be designated toward specific sport programs and the general athletic department, as well as athletic communications, ROTC, sports medicine, strength and conditioning and the J-Club.
Every gift, of every size, makes a difference as 100 percent of the dollars raised go directly to the sport or organization of your choosing.
Friends of SJU Athletics are encouraged to donate to the sport/s of their choosing and/or challenge their friends and teammates with a matching gift (per donor, preferably).
In honor of the Go Johnnies Challenge, we ask you to show your Johnnie pride and wear your school colors all day tomorrow!
