KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Saint John's tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Thursday, March 19, at the Oak Street Park Community Center.
The Blugolds (8-4, 1-2 WIAC) won all six singles matches in straight sets and two of the three in doubles.
The lone win for SJU (1-5, 0-3 MIAC) came at No. 3 doubles for senior
Taylor Duncan (Benson, Minn.) and freshman
Jack Gangl (Elk River, Minn.). The match was tied at 4-4 before the UWEC duo retired.
The Johnnies wrap up their spring-break trip with an 11 a.m. ET match against Franklin & Marshall (Pa.) on Friday, March 20, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando.
