SJU Ends Spring-Break Trip With Loss to Franklin & Marshall

ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint John's tennis ended its spring-break trip with a 7-0 loss to Franklin & Marshall (Pa.) on Friday, March 20, at the USTA National Campus.

The Diplomats (4-3, 0-0 CC) won the six singles matches in straight sets, including four shutouts. Junior Alex Draeger (Litchfield, Minn.) was the closest for SJU (1-6, 0-3 MIAC) with five points at No. 1, 6-3 and 6-2.

Draeger and sophomore Cole Haabala (Alexandria, Minn.) had the tightest doubles result at No. 1, 6-3.

SJU returns to MIAC play by hosting Concordia at 1 p.m. next Sunday, March 29, at Sta-Fit in Sartell.
