500 Free Prelim Results
INDIANAPOLIS – Saint John's senior
Brayden Slavik (Green Isle, Minn./Chaska) finished 33rd out of 35 swimmers in the 500-yard freestyle at the 2026 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships on Wednesday, March 18.
The top-16 times from the morning prelims advanced to tonight's A (1-8) and B (9-16) finals.
Slavik battled the waves in lane one of the third heat and finished seventh out of eight swimmers with a time of 4:36.69, which was nearly seven seconds slower than his 4:29.70 he used to win his second-straight MIAC title in the event last month.
He competes in the 400-yard individual medley prelims at 9:45 a.m. CT Thursday, March 19.
