BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Saint John's freshman guard
Peyton Podany (Anoka, Minn.) was named the MIAC Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Feb. 16.
Podany averaged 25.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 29.5 minutes per game with a .567 shooting percentage (17-for-30), including a 6-for-13 showing (46.2 percent) from three-point range, as SJU (14-10, 10-5 MIAC) clinched an MIAC Playoff berth last week with two road wins in St. Paul.
