COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Two Saint John's sophomores,
Alex Draeger (Litchfield, Minn.) and
Sam Wolden (St. Louis Park, Minn.), earned All-MIAC honors on Tuesday, May 6.
Wolden received All-MIAC recognition in singles competition for the second-straight season and collected the honor for doubles play with Draeger, who was named All-MIAC honorable mention in singles.
The duo posted an 11-7 record this season, including a 10-6 mark at No. 2 (5-4 MIAC).
In singles competition, Wolden was 11-4 (6-2 MIAC) at No. 2, while Draeger posted a 16-4 record across Nos. 4-6. Draeger's 16 singles wins were the most by a Johnnie since Fabricio Moncada '13 went 20-6 in 2013. Draeger missed All-MIAC honors by one point and collected a 13-3 mark in duals, including a 6-3 record in MIAC play: 5-3 at No. 4, 1-0 at No. 5 and 7-0 at No. 6. He was All-MIAC honorable mention in doubles play as a freshman in 2024.
The Johnnies tied for seventh in the MIAC with a 3-6 record (8-9 overall) in 2025.
