Jon Howe (Chanhassen, Minn.) 5:25 into the game. Howe finished with 29 saves.
Sophomore forward
Jacob McPartland (Victoria, Minn.) tied the game at 1-1 when he slapped home a rebound of his own shot 1:55 into the second period, but Drew Holt gave the lead back to the Gusties two seconds after the Johnnies killed off a power play with 42 seconds left in the frame.
SJU posted a 38-31 advantage in shots, including a 28-20 margin after the first period, but went 0-for-4 on the power play (to GAC's 0-for-3 showing).

Dylan Schneider tied the game 6:20 after Campbell's tally for Augsburg on its first shot on goal.
