COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. - Five Saint John's University baseball student-athletes earned 2024 All-MIAC honors on Tuesday, May 14.

Quinn Krueger (Woodbury, Minn.) and junior pitchers
Will Fazio (Minneapolis, Minn./Blake) and
Connor Hartley (Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Rosemount) were named All-MIAC.

Reed Marquardt (Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes) were named honorable mention. Becker and Schleper were also named to the MIAC All-Playoff team.
SJU has now had 60 All-MIAC honorees over the last 14 seasons.
The All-MIAC honor is the second for Becker (2023-24) and Dauk (2022, 2024) and the first for the other three honorees.
Becker started all 20 conference games at third base and tied for first in MIAC play in runs scored (22), tied for second in both home runs (6) and RBI (24), was eighth in slugging percentage (.614) and ninth in total bases (43). He batted 11-for-26 (.423), half of his hits, with runners in scoring position and drove in 10 runs with a .394 average (13-for-33) with two outs. Overall, Becker led the team in batting (.371), hits (53), extra-base hits (27), home runs (12), RBI (54), slugging percentage (.741), multiple-hit games (17), multiple-RBI games (13) and ended the season with a 14-game hit streak. He also led the way by batting .571 (4-for-7) with a .667 on-base percentage, a home run, triple, three RBI and two runs scored in the two MIAC Tournament games. Becker batted .420 (34-for-81) with runners on base, including .472 (25-for-53) with runners in scoring position, and .368 (21-for-57) with 21 RBI with two outs.
Becker started SJU's last 124 games going back to 2021 and ended his Johnnie career as the program's all-time leader in RBI, both in a single season (54) and career (136). He was also second all-time in total bases (291), third in home runs (21), tied for third in doubles (39), fourth in runs scored (126), tied for fifth in triples (8), sixth in hits (173) and seventh in walks (54).
Dauk, like Becker, started all 20 league games and led the conference in hit-by-pitch (10), tied for fourth in home runs (5), tied for fifth in stolen bases (7-for-7), tied for sixth in RBI (22) and was eighth in on-base percentage (.477) in conference play. He batted .481 (13-for-27) with runners on base, including .429 (9-for-21) with runners in scoring position, and successfully advanced runners on base at a 70.6-percent clip (24-for-34). Overall, Dauk led the Johnnies in runs scored (44), stolen bases (15-for-15) and on-base percentage (.469), and was second in batting (.333) and home runs (5). He batted .481 (25-for-52) with runners on base and ended the season by reaching base safely in each of the Johnnies' final 28 games.
Dauk started the Johnnies' last 156 games at second base and ended his career as SJU's all-time leader in runs scored, both in a season (45 in 2023) and career (158), and hit-by-pitch, both in a season (20 in 2021 and 2024) and in a career (70). He was also second in games played (160), tied for second in walks (81), tied for fifth in triples (8), sixth in total bases (253), tied for seventh in doubles (32), eighth in home runs (16) and tied for ninth in stolen bases (31).
Hartley tied for first in the MIAC in wins (5-1 record), was third among pitchers with 35 innings or more in ERA (4.00), tied for third in innings pitched (36.0) and tied for fourth in strikeouts (33) in conference play. Lefties batted .200 (5-for-25) against the right-handed Hartley and he held the opposition to a .227 average (15-for-66) with runners on base and .140 (6-for-43) with two outs. Overall, Hartley posted a 6-3 record with a 3.53 ERA and led SJU's pitching staff in innings (63.2) and strikeouts (52). He ended the regular season second in NCAA Division III in walks allowed per nine innings (0.76) and third in strikeout-to-walk ratio (10.00).
Fazio and Krueger proved a formidable pair of relievers for SJU during the MIAC schedule. Fazio went 1-0 with a 0.92 ERA, .197 opponent batting average and 22 strikeouts in 19.2 innings (seven appearances). Right-handed batters registered a .197 batting average against the southpaw. Krueger, meanwhile, went 1-0 with a 2.41 ERA, .177 opponent batting average and 16 strikeouts in 18.2 innings (eight appearances). He allowed only two hits (2-for-18) with runners on base. Overall, Krueger tallied a 2-1 record with a 3.16 ERA, .219 opponent batting average and 28 strikeouts in 31.1 innings over 15 appearances. Fazio collected a 2-2 record with a 3.27 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 33 innings (12 appearances with one start). Opponents batted .210 against him.
An All-MIAC honoree in 2023, Schleper tied for fourth in the league in doubles (8) and tied with Dauk for sixth in RBI (22) in conference play. He tied for first on the team with 24 hits and batted .324 with 17 runs scored and three homers. Overall, Schleper led the Johnnies with 16 doubles and was second on the team in hits (50) and RBI (37). He went 3-for-8 (.375) with a double, three two-out RBI and two runs scored in the MIAC Tournament.
Schleper ended his collegiate career as SJU's all-time leader in doubles with 44 and finished second in at-bats (554), third in games played (159), fourth in total bases (268), fifth in RBI (105), eighth in hits (167), ninth in home runs (15) and tied for ninth in runs scored (107).
Larson tied for third in the conference in wins (4-0 record) and was sixth in opponent batting average (.222) in MIAC action. He made five starts and registered 26 strikeouts in 24.1 innings. Overall, Larson finished 6-1 with a 4.65 ERA, .209 opponent batting average and 45 strikeouts in 40.2 innings (10 appearances with eight starts). He ended his SJU career with a 12-5 record, .224 opponent batting average and an even 100 strikeouts in 83 innings (31 appearances with 14 starts).
Marquardt led SJU with a .371 batting average (23-for-62), including .375 (6-for-16) against fellow lefties, and scored 16 runs from the No. 9 spot in the lineup in MIAC play. He batted .324 overall with 27 runs scored, 10 doubles and 16 RBI in 35 games (34 starts).
SJU tied for second in the MIAC with a 13-7 record (24-16 overall) and made its 14th-consecutive appearance in the MIAC Tournament (16th overall) this spring. The Johnnies finished second in the MIAC in slugging percentage (.496) and opponent batting average (.260), and third in ERA (4.63) in conference play.
