COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The 2023 Saint John's University baseball team earned a Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) on Wednesday, July 26.
To be eligible for the Team Academic Excellence Award, a college or university must submit the grade points earned on its official squad list for the academic year and carry a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The 55 Johnnies on the roster combined for a 3.46 GPA.
The Johnnies tied for second in the MIAC with a 14-6 record (23-16 overall) and made their 13th-consecutive appearance in the MIAC Tournament in 2023.
